THE PASSIONNATE
Jean-Charles Ben Sichou
Jean-Charles got the travel bug from his grandmother, who used to spin the globe to ask him questions about the world’s capitals. This aroused his curiosity and made him want to discover all those destinations with exotic names. He dreamed of traveling the world, like Tintin, his childhood hero.
After studying political science, he headed for Lebanon to work with the United Nations on development projects. He then joined a consulting company producing investment guides on emerging countries, which led him to live in Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, the Emirates and Ukraine, before finally settling in Paris and working in the travel industry for almost 10 years.
For Jean-Charles, being a Travel Designer and making each trip a unique creation is a passion that has become a profession, one that he is happy to practice on a daily basis.
When it comes to travelling, there are no limits. Over 60 countries to his credit, and he has no intention of stopping there ! He loves the energy of bustling cities like Sao Paulo, New York, Beirut and Bangkok, as well as the wide-open spaces of Patagonia, the volcanoes of Ecuador, the beaches of the Seychelles and the expanses of the Serengeti. He is also fascinated by the mythical sites of Petra, Bagan, Tikal or Lalibela… As for accommodation, he is open to a wide range of choices, from homestays and small charming lodgings to 4-5* hotels and palaces. Adaptability and curiosity are his hallmarks.
His secret dream :
12 months, 12 mythical cities, 1 month per city to take the time to immerse myself and not just be a visitor
